The Tea on Simply Penny Designs

Inspiration and determination to be home with my grandchildren is what has driven me to step out of the corporate world and into my own business venture.

I was a single mom of three boys for many years with a demanding career and a part time job that allowed me to provide comfortably for my family. I may have been living on red bull and little to no sleep but I was present at every sporting event and jumped through hoops to make things happen. 

The right man finally came along and we started building a life together which included our bonus children from previous relationships and a growing number of grandchildren. We were awarded custody of our grandson Dimitri and he did not want his NyNy to leave for work anymore. After much consideration I came up with a plan to test out the business idea locally and after lots of R&D I knew this was exactly what I wanted to do. #LifeWithDimitri

The love for our large blended family of children and grandchildren inspired me to put my creativity to work and build my brand. Being able to spend that quality time with my grandloves is the foundation of which my business was built. However, being able to offer a little extra support for my children where I wouldn't be able to with a corporate career is a definite bonus. I am beyond blessed to be able to put our family first!
